Description
The Stainless Steel Eye Bolt provides a threaded attachment point for ropes, cables, stays and selected rigging or securing components aboard vessels. Plain eye bolts are intended mainly for in-line loading, while shoulder patterns may support limited angular loading only when specifically rated. Forged lifting eye bolts must not be confused with general-purpose hardware. Thread size, eye diameter, shank length, shoulder form, material grade, working load, loading direction, installation depth, certificate and substrate strength must match the approved application.
