The SOLAS Thermal Protective Aid is a lightweight protective covering used to reduce convective and evaporative heat loss after rescue, evacuation or prolonged exposure. Waterproof, low-thermal-conductivity material wraps around the body while leaving the face uncovered for breathing. Compact packaging allows storage in lifeboats, liferafts and rescue stations.
