Description
The SOLAS Inflatable Life Raft provides emergency evacuation capacity and protected survival accommodation when a vessel must be abandoned. Packed in a rigid container or valise, the raft inflates through a gas system after painter operation or float-free release. Canopy, boarding aids, ballast pockets, survival equipment and internal lighting may be included according to approval. Person capacity, pack type, launching height, service interval, hydrostatic release arrangement and certificate status must suit the vessel plan.
