Description
The Portable Manual Resuscitator supports assisted ventilation of a non-breathing or inadequately breathing casualty until advanced medical help is available. A self-inflating bag, non-rebreathing valve and correctly sized face mask form the basic system. Adult, child and infant sets may include an oxygen reservoir, tubing and protective case. Patient size, bag volume, mask sizes, valve design, oxygen connection, material, single-use or reusable construction, cleaning method and storage condition must be selected for trained shipboard responders.
