Description
The Plasma Cutting Machine uses a high-temperature plasma arc to cut electrically conductive metals during shipboard fabrication and repair. It can process mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and selected alloys within the machine’s rated capacity. Inverter models provide portable cutting capability, while pilot-arc systems improve starting on painted or uneven surfaces. Input voltage, clean-cut thickness, severance capacity, air pressure, torch length, duty cycle, consumables and grounding requirements should match the material and vessel power supply.
