Description
The Non-Asbestos Gasket Sheet is used for producing replacement gaskets for flanges, inspection covers, pumps, valves and general shipboard machinery. Compressed synthetic fibres with a suitable binder provide reliable sealing without asbestos content. Different thicknesses and pressure-temperature grades can be selected for water, oil, fuel and low-pressure steam duties. Sheet size, colour, density and manufacturer approval should be matched with the service medium and vessel maintenance requirements.
