Description
The Marine Paint Thinner is supplied for viscosity adjustment, equipment flushing and tool cleaning when expressly recommended for the selected marine coating. Epoxy, polyurethane, alkyd and acrylic products generally require different solvent blends and must not be mixed with an unsuitable thinner. Excessive thinning can reduce film build and coating performance. Thinner type, compatible product code, maximum addition rate, pack size, flash point, ventilation, storage, personal protection and waste handling must follow the coating data sheet and vessel safety procedure.
