Description
The Marine Messenger Rope is used to transfer or pull heavier mooring lines, wire ropes and deck equipment into position. Braided and stranded synthetic constructions provide flexible handling through fairleads, blocks and around deck fittings. Polypropylene grades offer low weight and buoyancy, while polyester provides improved abrasion resistance and lower stretch. Rope diameter, length, construction, material, minimum breaking load, eye splice, colour, marker yarn, abrasion protection and compatibility with the pulled load must match the vessel procedure.
