Description
The Marine Magnetic Compass provides continuous vessel heading information using the earth’s magnetic field and requires no external electrical supply for basic operation. It can be installed in a binnacle, console or overhead position according to bridge layout. Card diameter, reading arrangement and compensation equipment must suit the vessel and viewing distance. Mounting type, lighting voltage, deviation correctors, certificate, spare fluid and compatibility with applicable navigation requirements should be confirmed before supply.
