Description
The Marine Fuel Oil Treatment is selected to support handling and combustion of compatible heavy or residual marine fuels. Formulations may disperse sludge, improve water separation, stabilize fuel or reduce deposit formation depending on the exact product. Treatment does not correct unsuitable or off-specification fuel and must be based on analysis, storage conditions and engine-maker guidance. Fuel type, dosage rate, addition point, mixing, settling, purifier operation, compatibility, storage, PPE and performance monitoring must follow the supplier’s programme.
