Description
The Marine Fire Blanket provides a simple method for smothering small incipient fires by excluding oxygen from the burning material. It is commonly positioned in vessel galleys, pantries, workshops and accommodation spaces for rapid access. Woven glass-fibre or approved equivalent material is stored in a wall-mounted pouch or rigid case with pull tabs for quick deployment. Blanket size, material, case type, mounting instructions, reusability status and marine approval should match the vessel safety plan.
