Description
The Marine Cooling Water Treatment protects compatible closed fresh-water cooling circuits against corrosion, scale and deposit formation. Inhibitor packages may include nitrite, molybdate, organic acid technology or hybrid chemistry according to the engine maker and system metallurgy. Some programmes also include compatible biocide control. Product selection and dosage must be based on system volume, water quality and routine testing. Concentration, pH, inhibitor reserve, chloride level, make-up water, dosing, PPE and disposal must follow the approved programme.
