Description
The Marine Boiler Water Treatment supports control of scale, corrosion, hardness and alkalinity within compatible vessel boiler systems. Combined and separate-treatment programmes may include phosphate, alkalinity builder, oxygen scavenger, condensate treatment or sludge conditioner depending on boiler design and feedwater quality. Chemical selection and dosage must be based on routine water analysis and maker guidance. Boiler pressure, test results, dosing point, blowdown, concentration, storage, PPE and record keeping must follow the approved treatment programme.
