Description
The Fireman’s Axe is an emergency hand tool for cutting, prying and forcible entry during vessel firefighting and rescue operations. A sharpened blade supports chopping of light obstructions, while the pick or spike assists with piercing panels and gaining access. Insulated or fibreglass handles may improve grip and electrical isolation according to the certified design. Head weight, handle length, handle material, blade profile, mounting bracket and approval should be selected for the ship fire station.
